Hi!

Twas another lovely winter week for trail work!  On Wednesday, Ken McIntyre, Howard Wiggins, Denis Trafecanty, Rick Hoopes and I met up at Paso Picacho campground in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park.  I'd brought along The Obliterator, fresh from it's annual overhaul and maintenance.  We headed over to work on the Kelly Ditch trail, continuing the long, long battle to cut back the overgrowth.  With The Obliterator happily humming along, we quickly piled up some massive amounts of brush, s...

On Wednesday
, Los Tres Kens (Bonus, Marsh and McIntyre) plus Howard Wiggins headed up to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park to work on the Kelly Ditch trail.  For those who may not be familiar with the trail since it's not included any of the races, it runs from Lake Cuyamaca to William Heise County Park, about 8 miles one way.  After being heavily overgrown for years, it's now in pretty good condition, subject to recent downed trees here and there.  You could make a nice training run out of t...

Hi!

Nothing like a cool and cloudy morning in the Cuyamacas to get you ready to warm up doing trail work!  Another enthusiastic crew met up at Paso Picacho ready to tackle one of our more unusual projects:  Neil Feerick, Ken Marsh, Ken McIntyre, Susan Russo, Margarita Campos, Edgar Campos, Gloria King, Joe Brophy and Juan Gonzalez.  Technical advice and supervision was provided by a highly experienced state park employee, John Sproule.
