Memo to self:  schedule trail work for cold, windy mornings as it apparently makes the volunteers work harder!  OK, I'm just kidding around.  But today's crew of Kurt Erlandson, Ed "The Jester" Ettinghausen, Rich Arriaga, Rafael Covarrubias, Martin Santos, Jeff Coon and Matt Eyre seemed to find extra inspiration from the cool weather.  Or, maybe it was the promise of cookies and beer once we finished clearing the trail?  Gosh, even The Obliterator seemed eager to demolish more ceanothu...

Despite a gloomy weather forecast, I met up this morning with Jesus Garcia-Fernandez, Hector Aleman, Treacy Sommer, Ken McIntyre and Ken Marsh at Paso Pichacho campground in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park.  Our plan was to work on clearing brush on the Black Oak East trail, which is part of the SD100 course.  But, first we had to get to the trail......
