It was a lovely spring day in the mountains.  I met up with Matthew Zuniga, Daniel Shamburg, Jeffrey Miller, Sean Nakamura and Mike Thomas at the Red Tailed Roost on Mt. Laguna.  We hiked down Thing Valley Road to access the PCT from where we left off last week.  Then it was time to fire up The Obliterator!  And off we went clearing trail over about a mile of the PCT, finishing up about .5 mile south of Dale's Soup Kitchen.  We saw several thru hikers and a covey of ultra runners doing a training run.
Post-work, it was back to Todd's cabin for another pleasant lunch, washed down with the Inversion IPA from Deschuttes Brewing.  Check on the PCT on your next training run.  It's in wonderful condition, with maybe about .5 mile left to finish off later this month.  Thanks to Todd for the use of the cabin and to our hard working crew for making the trail look so nice and neat.
